20-Year-Old Falls To His Death While Taking Photos At A Hotel In Genting Highlands
He died of severe head and body injuries from the fall.
A 20-year-old teen fell to his death from the 16th floor of a hotel in Genting Highlands yesterday, 17 September
Sinchew reported that the victim slipped and fell after he had climbed a wall on the 16th floor of a hotel's car park to take photos.
“It is believed that he had climbed a wall on the 16th floor of the hotel’s car park to take photographs when he slipped and fell," Bentong district police chief Supt Mohamad Mansor Mohd Nor said as quoted by NST.
The victim P. Kanesh Naidu, died instantly when he landed on the 7th floor
According to media reports, he died of severe head and body injuries from the fall.
"The victim died of severe head and body injuries, consistent with falls from a great height," said Mohamad Mansor Mohd Nor.
It's believed that the incident happened when his friends were still in the car and the victim was believed to have ventured out alone at the parking lot
The Bentong police chief added that the victim, a restaurant worker from Kuala Lumpur, took advantage of the Malaysia Day holiday and came up to Genting Highlands with three friends.
Investigations showed there was no foul play involved.
