Kidnapped Perak Woman Escapes After Being Raped And Abused For 5 Days By Abductor

The police have since arrested her captor, a man in his late 20s.

The woman, who works at a food stall, was kidnapped and brought to a house at Jalan Laksamana, The Star reported.

Over a period of five days, the suspect raped the victim, forced her to perform oral sex on him, and abused her

"She was slapped, hit with a stick on her right arm, and hit with a screwdriver on her head," said Perak CID chief Senior Asst Comm Yahya Abd Rahman.

"The victim was threatened that she would be killed and defaced with a knife, causing her to be scared to run away initially," he added.

Several days after the kidnapping, the captor moved the 25-year-old to a different house at Jalan Kebun Limau.

It was there that she found the opportunity to escape when her kidnapper left her alone momentarily.

She sought help from strangers, who brought her to the Teluk Intan police station to lodge a report.

The police arrested the woman's captor, known as "Nan" from Kampung Bahagia, on 5 March

The case is currently being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape.

The victim has been discharged from the Teluk Intan Hospital after being treated for her injuries, The Star reported.
