3 Senior Citizens Drown In Penang Floods Bringing Death Toll To 4

The flood situation in Penang has claimed the life of a 75-year-old man who drowned in his home, bringing death toll to four so far
The body of the senior citizen, an Indian Muslim, was retrieved by the Fire and Rescue Department and sent to the Hashim Yahya Mosque relocation centre, Malaysiakini reported Northeast district police chief Anuar Omar as saying in George Town.
The two other senior citizens who drowned in the Penang floods were said to be a 64-year-old woman and a 78-year-old man
The 64-year-old woman was identified as Lau Guek Chee from the Jalan P Ramlee Paschal nursing and senior citizens' home.
"Her body was also retrieved by the Fire and Rescue Department and sent to the relocation centre at the Hashim Yahya Mosque," Anuar said.
The third victim, Anuar added, was identified as Chew Eng Lean.
