41-Year-Old Chicken Meat Supplier Found Slaughtered Inside Slaughterhouse
A chicken meat supplier was found dead in a slaughterhouse, believed to have been murdered by his foreign worker.

A chicken supplier was found dead and covered in blood with injuries to the head inside the store of his chicken processing plant in Jalan Changkat
A chicken meat supplier was found dead in a slaughterhouse, believed to have been murdered by his foreign worker. Tan Chye Sian, 41, was found lying in a pool of blood inside the chicken processing room at the slaughterhouse in Jalan Changkat by his brother at about 10am yesterday.
thestar.com.myTan's body was discovered by his brother who came by at 10am after the victim failed to pick up his call. Penang CID chief SAC Mazlan Kesah said the man was believed to have been hit on the head with a blunt object.
Penang CID chief Senior Asst Comm Mazlan Kesah said the brother had rushed over to the slaughterhouse after Tan failed to answer his calls.

Mazlan said initial police investigation found that a Myanmar man who works and lives on the premises had disappeared after the incident
"We believe the worker was involved in the incident after a witness claimed to have heard the two quarelling this morning and saw the man leave the premises in a hurry," he said.

Mazlan said the Myanmar national, who is in his 20s, had lived and worked there for several years and normally he and his employer would begin work as early as 4am
He said police did not find any of the foreigner's travel documents in the store which also served as his living quarters. "Tan is still single and his body was sent to the Seberang Jaya Hospital for post-mortem," said Mazlan.

He said efforts to locate the worker is ongoing and police urge anyone with information to contact the nearest police station to assist investigations
A Myanmar has been sought to facilitate investigations into the murder of a chicken supplier yesterday, at the victim's chicken processing outlet in Jalan Changkat here. The suspect, in his 20s, was previously hired by the victim, Tan Chye Sian, 41, to work at the outlet for several years.
He urged those with information on the whereabouts of the suspect to contact the nearest police station.
