650cc Kawasaki Versys Rams Into Steel Barrier In Pahang, Killing The Rider On The Spot

Early on Sunday morning, a high-powered motorcycle rider was killed when his 650cc Kawasaki Versys rammed into a steel barrier at KM15 Jalan Kuantan-Pintasan near Sungai Karang

The victim, who was identified as Mohd Rosmainie Radzi, died at the scene due to severe head and body injuries. The 33-year-old worked as a maintenance staff at Megaview Kuantan Hotel.

The victim's body was sent to the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Kuantan Hospital.

According to Pahang police contingent headquarters traffic chief DSP Mohd Noor Yusof Ali, the crash occurred at 4am when the victim was travelling from Kuantan Port towards Kuantan town

"The victim, believed to have lost control of his vehicle, rode onto the left shoulder of the road before hitting the barrier,” he told Bernama here.

Initial investigations revealed that Mohd Rosmainie from Bandar Jengka had a valid licence and was wearing a helmet during the incident.
