9,000KG Worth Of Trash Was Thrown All Over KL After New Year's Eve Parties
While everyone went home, cleaners spent eight hours cleaning up the rubbish.

New year, same trash mentality.
Nine tonnes (9,000kg) worth of rubbish was strewn all over roads in KL after recent New Year's Eve celebrations in the city.
After the festivities ended and people headed home, cleaners spent eight hours collecting all of the rubbish that was left scattered everywhere
100 personnel, including general workers, drivers, and supervisors worked tirelessly to clear the mess.
They collected an estimate of four tonnes (4,000kg) worth of rubbish from KLCC area, 2.5 tonnes (2,500kg) from Bukit Bintang, and 2.5 tonnes (2,500kg) at Dataran Merdeka.
Alam Flora Sdn Bhd shared photos on Facebook which has since been shared over 3,200 times.
"All the way from KLCC to Bukit Bintang, the roads were choked with trash," said artist Naz Luna Harun, according to New Straits Times.
"The trash bins were overflowing and since there weren't enough bins, the public decided to simply throw their garbage on the streets."
According to New Straits Times, a Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) spokesman said that campaigns on cleanliness were held prior to the New Year celebration.
Posters were also put up on social media reminding the public to bring extra garbage bags and to not bring ribbon spray cans.
