Lost your luggage while flying?

What if we told you a Facebook page named 'Kuala Lumpur International Airport' might be selling it for as low as RM16?

Scary, right?

Well, it's a scam.

First of all, Kuala Lumpur International Airport has two main terminals: Terminal 1, the original hub formerly known as simply KLIA, and the newer Terminal 2, previously known as klia2.

Both now bear the official designations KLIA Terminal 1 and KLIA Terminal 2.

Secondly, they are managed by Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, and the company only has one official Facebook page, Malaysia Airports.

Most importantly, lost belongings find their way home rather than ending up on auction blocks, as Malaysia Airports does not engage in the sale of lost items or luggage under any circumstances.
