The camera was spotted on 26 October.
On 26 October, a hidden camera was found in the toilet of a mamak stall on Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur
The camera was spotted by Facebook user, who only wishes to be known as Khairul, and his friend during their visit to the stall last Friday, 26 October.
According to him, the mamak stall is located on the fifth mile of Jalan Ipoh in Kuala Lumpur.
The video has since garnered thousands of shares across Facebook.
The hidden camera, disguised as a hook, was positioned at waist level in the toilet
"One of my friends confirmed that it (the hook) was a camera, positioned at waist level of the toilet door," Khairul said in an interview with SAYS.
"The toilet is used by both men and women," he added.
Khairul told SAYS that while he did not file a police report against the mamak stall, he wishes to raise public awareness regarding the matter
"We're worried that the mamak stall may accuse us of setting up the camera ourselves," he revealed.
"We just want people to be aware of this," Khairul added.
