Previously known as Ladyzunga Cyborg, the university art lecturer, who has a penchant for often changing her names, decided she wanted a name that was difficult to pronounce

The 36-year-old, who lives in Bogota, started the process back in 2012 and finally received an official ID card 12 months later. She had several requests rejected by the Colombian National Registry after they initially refused to acknowledge the name.

She admitted that officials had often raised eyebrows at her unusual names, but that her latest name change to become Abcdefg Hijklmn Opqrst Uvwxyz had involved her biggest battle yet.

She said that she had been fighting red tape for two years in order to finally get approval to now call herself Abcdefg Hijklmn Opqrst Uvwxyz.

“I started looking for a name that nobody had in Colombia, or the world, so I thought ABCDEFG HIJKLMN OPQRST UVWXYZ,” she explained.

“I've changed my name so people wouldn't know it's me. It's not because I was disturbed by it, but because I wanted to always bring an element of surprise.”

What does she teaches, you ask?

Ms Uvwxyz teaches art and photography at three universities as well as designing fashion on the side.

Is it too late to suggest: 'The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog'? It would have given her all the letters she was after but more pronounceable. But considering how she wanted a name that was hard to pronounce, I guess it's a silly suggestion! :/

Anyhow, seeing how single typos are killing centuary old businesses, I hope no one misspells Ms Uvwxyz's name
