An American travel blogger has made his feelings clear about President Trump's anti-Muslim rhetoric on social media while travelling in Malaysia

Derek Freal, an American blogger who runs a travel blog called 'The HoliDaze', has been travelling in Malaysia for the past few days.

On 6 April, he posted a tweet with a group of locals with a caption that reads, "Hey Trump, I'm in a Muslim country right now and guess what? People here are friendlier than in the USA. #visitMalaysia #ttot."

The tweet went viral and has been retweeted over 14,800 times at the time of writing.

There's no doubt that his viral tweet has garnered a lot of attention from Malaysians. Some even took the chance to recommend him more places of attraction.

Freal, who has been globetrotting for the past 8 years, also uploaded snapshots of his travels in Malaysia, which includes trying out the Ayam Goreng McD, visiting the Container Hotel, and drinking a cup of juice "that's bigger than a coconut"

Yesterday, he even invited his followers to join him in Taman Melati for a shisha sesh!

Yes, he can converse in BM!

Kreal quit his job in 2009 to become a full-time traveller. Since then, he has travelled to different countries including Japan, Finland, India, China, and Hong Kong.
