Another Diner With A Pink Tag Spotted At A Restaurant In KL

The photo was uploaded by Malaysian YouTuber Isaac Osman yesterday, 21 July, and it has since garnered over 31,000 retweets.

The man can be seen wearing a pink tag on his left wrist, a similar band that is worn by those under home quarantine for 14 days. New Straits Times reported that those sporting the hospital tag should not be out in public.

"This is an example of a cow who doesn't know how to eat in his barn," wrote Isaac.

"This kopitiam is located near Desa Sri Hartamas. I just walked away because cows can't understand humans."

"The incident took place at 2.10pm yesterday," he said, adding that he made the report via a MOH hotline.

Isaac related that he was shocked that he would find a man flouting mandatory home quarantine in front of him following a similar case in Ipoh, Perak, which has made headlines nationwide recently.

"At that time, the individual sat outside of the store, where about six other customers were at. Six more customers were inside the kopitiam," said the YouTuber with over 630,000 subscribers.

He said the man was dining alone at the restaurant.

He told SAYS that he and his friends immediately left the premise following the discovery.

"In my opinion, action should also be taken against the shop operator as well since they allowed the individual to enter the premise," he said.

"The store operator should be the first to report the case if it happens again. With the decline of active cases in the country, many restaurant operators are getting increasingly lazier in checking the temperature and logging visitors."

"This is a big contrast to the situation last month, where operators were more afraid and more cautious."

According to New Straits Times, a source said the police will be investigating the matter.
