Bodies of 2 men with hands and legs bound and their heads wrapped in plastic bags were discovered by police at Alor Pongsu R&R around 4pm
The stench and the presence of flies hovering over the trunk of a Proton Waja left parked at the south-bound Alor Pongsu R&R area of the North-South Expressway near here, led to the discovery of bodies of two men.
Initial information gathered from the public and expressway workers revealed that the Proton Waja was left at the scene since Thursday evening.

According to sources, the victims had left Penang on Wednesday heading towards an unknown destination.

Kerian police chief Supt Mat Fauzi Nayan, when contacted, confirmed the incident, saying that further investigation was being done
Illegal money lending activity is believed to be the motive behind the double murder.
“We are still carrying out further investigation on how the bodies ended up there and the motive for it,” he said.
