Footage from a dashcam has gone viral.
It shows a motorcycle rider colliding with a Proton Wira that was cutting lanes to enter into the right lane in order to make a U-turn.
In the footage posted across Facebook and Twitter, the Proton Wira driver is seen moving along the left lane with the middle lane empty and the vehicle with the dashcam in the right lane following behind.
However, the driver suddenly decides to make a U-turn while he is barely a couple of meters away from missing the U-turn spot and slows down to cut lanes to enter into the right lane.
Seeing this, the vehicle with the dashcam slows down, possibly to give way to the driver.
However, before the Proton Wira driver could exit the middle lane and enter into the right lane, a motorcycle rider, who appears in the dashcam frame at the seven-second mark, fails to dodge the car.
The footage shows the rider colliding with the car and gets thrown off his motorcycle.
The impact of the collision sends the rider dragging across the U-turn spot and he stops on the elevated green patch with his motorcycle
As seen above, the rider was coming in hot and fails to dodge the car.
The driver of the car stops for a second only to continue making the U-turn and drives off the scene of the accident near Seri Kembangan
