Employers In Selangor Can Now Register To Buy COVID-19 Vaccines For Their Staff
Interested employers can register via the SELangkah app.

Employers in Selangor can now buy COVID-19 vaccines for their staff through the SELangkah app
The Selgate COVID-19 Vaccination Programme was announced by the Selangor state government to expedite vaccination processes in the country.
Companies that are interested can register to buy the vaccines through the SELangkah application (available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store), or on the Selangkah VAX website.
According to the website, employers will get a booking ID upon registration and a price quotation within the next 24 hours
A 50% deposit will be required to confirm the booking. After that, payment for the remaining 50% must be made at least 14 days before the vaccination date.
Once the deposit has been processed, vaccination appointments will be scheduled and company employees will have to put their details on the SELangkah app to register.
The vaccinations will either be conducted at the company office or at an assigned panel clinic, depending on the number of staff.
It has not been announced which vaccine will be administered or what their price will be.
The initiative by the state government hopes to assist in expediting the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme
According to Free Malaysia Today, 65% of Malaysia's 907,500 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are located in Selangor.
The state has also seen the leading number of new cases in the current COVID-19 wave.
On Tuesday, 18 May, Malaysia recorded 4,865 new COVID-19 infections, with 1,743 of them coming from Selangor.
