30 May: Prasarana says they are not responsible for the accident

In response to reports linking the accident to the LRT extension project, Syarikat Prasarana Negara Bhd project development group director Zulkifli Mohd Yusoff said the company was not responsible for the accident.

“We wish to clarify that it was a traffic accident. It was not an LRT site incident,” he said in a statement.

29 May: Boom crane falls off trailer and kills 27-year-old Kelvin Kumar

Kelvin Kumar, 27, who worked at a restaurant in Jalan Telawi 3, Bangsar, was killed on the spot while his employer, Anisah Abdul Rahman, 43, who suffered head and bodily injuries, was rushed to a private hospital nearby.

29 March: Crane equipment falls onto cars and kills 34-year-old Vijayasingam Adimulam

FULL STORY: On Friday (29 March) evening, construction equipment hoisted by a crane at the LRT extension site near KM15 of Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang fell and crushed two cars, killing a motorist and leaving another seriously injured.
