Heartbroken Grandmother Loses Daughter, Son-In-Law & Grandkids In Batang Kali Landslide

After identifying their bodies, the grief-stricken woman almost collapsed and had to be supported by family members.

According to Bernama, the woman from Sabak Bernam, Selangor, nearly collapsed from the weight of her grief after she left the hospital's forensic unit, requiring family members to support her as they walked to the car.

Beh said she lost her 35-year-old daughter, her son-in-law, 34, and two grandchildren, a boy and a girl, aged six and one, respectively, in the landslide on 16 December. 

"Yesterday I identified three bodies. Today I identified another one," the grief-stricken woman told reporters before leaving the hospital.

Two hearses left a few minutes before she departed, possibly transporting the remains of her loved ones.

As of this writing, 24 people have been confirmed dead as a result of the landslide, while nine remain missing. Rescue efforts are well underway.
