Is Malaysia Really Going Bankrupt?
Earlier, Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim has claimed that Malaysia has gone bankrupt under the leadership of the Barisan Nasional government. Just recently, Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has denied that claim, calling it 'a big lie'. So which is it, are we bankrupt or are we not?
Why we are NOT bankrupt
The Government is not in dire financial straits right now. By all measures its finances are good, but as in any situation involving finances, this is not to say it cannot be better.
