This Guy Is Offering Obama 50 Cows, 70 Sheep, 30 Goats For His Daughter's Hand In Marriage
An offer Mr President can't refuse.
Felix Kiprono is a lawyer from Kenya who happens to be in love with Malia Obama, the eldest daughter of President Barack Obama
Felix is very serious about Malia and he does what every love struck man would do. He asks for her hand in marriage from her father, who happens to be the leader of the free world.
But Mr Felix isn't going in empty handed. After all, he is marrying the President's daughter.
In order to convince Mr President, Felix is throwing a very sweet dowry by offering the President 50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats. Yup, that's a lot of "moos" and "mehs".
A Kenyan lawyer plans to offer President Obama 50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats for his daughter’s hand in marriage.
Felix Kiprono told The Nairobian newspaper he’s fallen in love with 16-year-old Malia Obama and hopes to woo the famous first daughter when her powerful pops visits the country in July.
According to AfricanSpotlight, Felix has been interested in Malia since 2008 and he has not dated anyone since. What a romantic...
“I got interested in her in 2008. As a matter of fact, I haven’t dated anyone since and promise to be faithful to her. I have shared this with my family and they are willing to help me raise the bride price,” he said. The young lawyer claims his love for Malia is real and not infatuation. He claims Malia has Kenyan blood since his father Obama has Kenyan roots.
Kiprono said he is not after the family’s money, adding that his love is real.
Felix is so confident that he already has the proposal planned out if he gets the green light
"I will not resort to the cliché of popping champagne. Instead, I will surprise her with mursik, the traditional Kalenjin sour milk. As an indication that she is my queen, I will tie sinendet, which is a sacred plant, around her head".
entertainment.ieHe even has their future planned out! And it will take Malia some getting used to
“I will propose to her on a popular hill in Bureti near my father’s land, where leaders and warriors are usually crowned. The place is called Kapkatet, which means ‘victory,’” he said, adding, "Ours will be a simple life. I will teach Malia how to milk a cow, cook ugali and prepare mursik like any other Kalenjin woman.”
