Malaysia Records 1,755 New COVID-19 Cases In A Day

Today, 6 November, the Ministry of Health (MOH) recorded a new high in daily COVID-19 cases in the country at 1,755 cases within a day

Of the 1,755 new cases today, only three are imported cases.

There were two new deaths reported with a total of 736 patients making recovery.

The highest number of cases were reported in Sabah

Meanwhile, MOH frontliners will be receiving an additional one-off payment as a sign of appreciation for their hard work in battling the COVID-19 pandemic this year:

The one-off payment is part of the RM1 billion allocation to the Ministry of Health for battling the pandemic.

The government has also announced that it is planning to give tax exemption for any expenses concerning the COVID-19 vaccine:

The government said they plan to allocate RM3 billion to purchase the vaccine for the virus once it's available.
