Malaysia Sees Another Massive Spike With 182 New COVID-19 Cases In A Day
Out of the 182 new cases, 181 are local transmissions.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) has recorded 182 new COVID-19 cases in the country today, 11 September
According to Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah's official Twitter account, this brings the total number of cases in Malaysia to 9,810.
Out of the 182 new cases, 181 are local transmissions, with only one being imported.
A large number of the cases came from the Bentang cluster in Sabah with 167 cases, while 14 new cases were recorded in Kedah from the Sungai cluster and the Telaga cluster.
In the past week, there was a massive spike in new cases with 62 reported on 7 September and 100 on 8 September
However, no new deaths related to the coronavirus was reported.
This leaves the total number of COVID-19 related fatalities at 128, or 1.30%, of total cases.
