MPV Rams Through Parking Lot Wall Of Apartment In Sentul And Plunges 3 Storeys Down

In an accident that happened on Thursday evening, 20 August, a four-wheel-drive (4WD) rammed through the wall of an apartment building parking lot in Sentul and plunged three storeys down

A 63-year-old man, who was driving the 4WD, died

In a statement, Kuala Lumpur Fire Department Operations Centre Senior Operations Commander Hafizan Hassan said that they received an emergency call at 6.18pm.

Following which nine personnel from the Sentul Fire and Rescue station were rushed to the scene.

"Upon reaching the scene, they found that the vehicle with its driver inside had rammed through the wall of a parking lot and fell three storeys," he was quoted as saying by Bernama.

"The victim was confirmed dead by the paramedic team of the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) who arrived at the location," he said, adding that the elderly man was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser.
