A 24-year-old intern nurse was decapitated after trying to leave a malfunctioning elevator in Shenzhen, China. Before she was able to completely step out, the doors closed on her and the elevator plunged to the basement, dragging her body 4 meters down. She died instantly. Nurse Decapitated by Faulty Hospital Elevator in Shenzhen, China
A 24-year-old woman surnamed Wang died after being trapped in the doors of an elevator in the Luohu district of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province Wednesday morning, local authorities said.

The tragedy happened when the woman, working as an intern at a hospital in Changhong Mansion, was about to step out of the elevator on the third floor.
