The middle lanes of the bridge will also be closed at nights.

The bridge will be undergoing inspection and maintenance works on its stay cables

In a report by The Malay Mail Online, PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) chief operating officer Mohammad Fuad Khusairi said "The stay cables are the bridge's most important component and safety checks need to be conducted on it every four years."

Tidal flow lanes will also be opened during peak hours to manage heavy traffic
