Perak Farmer Who Raped His Daughter-In-Law Twice Told His Grandson To "Get Lost"

The 66-year-old man has since been detained by the police.

A 66-year-old man in Kuala Kangsar, Perak has been detained by the police for raping his 34-year-old daughter-in-law twice

According to Sin Chew Daily, Kuala Kangsar district police chief ACP Razali Ibrahim said that the woman initially did not to report her father-in-law in fear of her husband. 

Razali added that on 11 December, 10 days after the atrocious act, the woman finally lodged a report against the farmer with advice from her sister.

The farmer had first raped her on 1 December, and did it again within a week

China Press reported that during the first incident, the man's grandson had walked into the room in their family home after hearing cries from his mother.

However, the man had instead told his grandson to "get lost", and continued with the sexual assault.

The farmer is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape

Once convicted, the man faces a maximum jail sentence of 20 years and whipping.
