A 28-year-old female cop has lodged a police report at the Arau police station, accusing her senior officer of sexually abusing her

According to a report in The Star Online, dated 2 March, the victim is a probationary police inspector who alleges that she was forced to perform oral sex on the officer.

The 28-year-old woman was invited for dinner by the suspect on the night of 25 February at a restaurant in Kangar, Perlis. However, after noticing that the restaurant was closed, the officer then drove the woman to a secluded spot, where he allegedly took advantage of her, The Star Online reported citing sources.

The woman did not put up a fight because she was afraid for her safety.

She claims that this isn't the first time the officer has abused her

The senior officer had reportedly groped the probationary police inspector's buttocks when they were in his office late last year. He then threatened to make her work difficult if she rejected his advances and refused to go out with him, the English daily reported.

However, on the day of the groping incident last year, the senior officer had lodged a report, claiming that he never groped her

In his report last year, the senior officer had claimed that the policewoman was unhappy that he had criticised her for not doing her job properly.

Accusing the female cop of tarnishing his good name, the suspect had said that she could have been influenced by "outsiders" to lodge the report against him.

While the policewoman's report against the senior officer is being investigated, the officer, whose rank was not mentioned, has been transferred out of the district and reportedly put on leave

In a separate case, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by nine "rank and file" army personnel at a popular hotel at Jalan Mata Kucing:
