Perodua today announced that the company will be issuing a recall for 74,000 Myvi models produced between March 2011 and March 2012 to replace the electric power steering (EPS) column.

The compact car maker said this was to ensure that owners of the New Myvi enjoy optimum performance from their vehicle.

'Preventive Measure Campaign' by Perodua

Perodua has not put an end date to the campaign, but Aminar encourages customers to make their appointments at their earliest convenience to ensure smooth and orderly replacements.

After making an appointment at a service centre, a customer will be given a briefing on the replacement of the EPS column. The exercise will take approximately 80 minutes.
