[VIDEO] Police Officer Stops Tourist From Excitedly Swimming Inside KLCC Fountain
Bystanders gathered around the woman as she waved her hands in the air, with many looking perplexed by her actions.
On Friday, 28 April, a TikTok user uploaded a video of a foreign tourist attempting to swim inside the fountain at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) park
In the 33-second clip, the tourist, donning a short red dress, can be seen by the side of the fountain with her feet dipped in it.
Bystanders gather around the woman as she waves her hands in the air, with many looking perplexed by her actions.
She then dips on her belly into the shallow water fountain, before turning around to look at the people who are watching her.
Moments later, the tourist can be seen walking through the streets while being escorted by a police officer
At the time of writing, it is not known whether the woman had been fined for her actions.
The video has garnered over 760,000 views and over 30,000 likes.
Netizens were puzzled by the woman's actions and left their thoughts in the comments section
One user claimed to have seen the woman dancing inside Suria KLCC, but security personnel later escorted her out of the shopping centre.
"I didn't know she went on to swim after leaving the mall," they wrote.
Meanwhile, another user claimed that they also saw the woman in front of the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
"It was raining heavily at the time, but she posed on top of a Porsche that was at the valet parking," they commented.
"Is this The Legend of the Blue Sea?" wrote another in jest, referring to a 2016 K-drama starring Jun Ji-hyun and Lee Min-ho.
