Report: Police Are Investigating Sodomy Allegations Implicating An Opposition Leader
The claimant alleged that the politician had committed sodomy on five occasions back in 2013.

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is investigating a statutory declaration (SD) that alleges an opposition leader committed sodomy on five different occasions
The SD, dated 29 June 2020, was published over the weekend on a local blog.
The three-page SD alleges that the politician paid RM300 each time for sexual favours, including anal and oral intercourse.
However, the person who made the SD lodged a police report on Sunday, 16 August, claiming that the document on the local blog had been doctored, reported Malaysiakini.
Federal Crime Investigation Department (CID) deputy director Mior Faridalathrash Wahid confirmed that they have received the police report and an investigation has been launched.
"We have received the report and an investigation is being carried out. Our investigation will cover every aspect," Mior told Malaysiakini.
In the SD, the claimant made a very detailed account of how the politician had sex with him on four occasions in 2013
He mentioned how long each session lasted and where the politician discharged after each sexual favour.
According to him, he has phone call recordings and text message screenshots as evidence to back his claims.
He also revealed that he had once rushed to a hospital to get a sample of the politician's discharge shortly after servicing the politician.
He said he had serviced the politician at hotels in Subang, Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur, and Penang four times that year, and each time he was offered "only RM300" as payment.
On the fifth occasion, he said the politician solicited him to bring a friend to commit sodomy.
To comply with the politician's request, he brought one of his friends to meet the politician at a hotel in KL. He said the two had sex for one hour and forty minutes and his friend received RM300 as payment.
"At that time, [my friend] complained to me that [the politician] committed sodomy in a very rough manner to the extent that [my friend] told me he suffered pain in the anus," the SD read.
It is unsure how much of the content in the SD has been manipulated before it was published on the local blog
A check by Malaysiakini found that the SD was legitimate and was signed before a Commissioner for Oaths in Selangor.
"Yes, the SD was made by the person who signed the document," the commissioner told the news portal.
Meanwhile, the claimant told Malaysiakini that he had lodged a police report over the matter and he will leave it to the authorities to resolve it.
