Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Negeri Selangor membenarkan KDEB membuat tawaran bernilai RM9.65 bilion untuk memulakan proses pengambilalihan syarikat-syarikat konsesi air Selangor.
“Kami yakin tawaran ini tidak akan merugikan syarikat-syarikat berkenaan kerana jumlah ini merupakan pulangan 12% setahun terhadap ekuiti yang dimiliki syarikat berbanding pulangan lazim 6%."
