Teacher Safely Delivers Baby In Classroom With The Help Of Principal And Colleagues
In our FEEL GOOD FRIDAY column this week, we bring to you a sweet story of how a school teacher gave birth to a baby girl inside her classroom with the help of her fellow teachers and principal acting as midwives.
Earlier this week, a 29-year-old school teacher gave birth to a girl child inside her classroom with the help of her colleagues and the school principal acting as the midwives
The teacher's name is Rabiatul Adawiyah Ibrahim, and she teaches at SMK Taman Desaminium in Seri Kembangan, Selangor
When Rabiatul was hit by labour pains during her class, the principal and other teachers rushed over to help her
She safely gave birth to a 2.2kg girl at about 11.30am on Wednesday. Both mother and child were sent to the hospital later.

“She called to say she was having labour pains but when I arrived at the school she had already given birth,” said Raja Abdullah, who teaches in another school. This is their third child.
