A traumatised teenage girl has lost all of her hair in a selfie taking session gone wrong
The unnamed girl, believed to be in her teens, was trying to take a selfie when her hair became tangled in part of a ferris wheel ride
According to the Daily Mail, the accident happened outside a college in Baraut, a small city just outside of Delhi, India.
The ferris wheels were reportedly set up across the country for the Hindu celebration of Dussehra.
Footages captured the aftermath of the accident, where the girl can be seen standing motionless with her hair and skin twisted into the machinery
Her hair was tangled in the machinery, and slowly dragged off as the wheel turned before it was eventually stopped when people realised what had happened
A friend next to her, blood spattered over her white dress, tries to calm and reassure her as others rush to help and cut her away from the ride.
Thankfully, the girl survived the horrific accident and was taken to a hospital to recover
This should also be a good reminder to all - always, ALWAYS pay attention to your surroundings when you're taking a selfie. Safety first, guys!
