UMNO's Lokman Is Being Investigated For The Police Report He Made Over Gay Sex Videos

UMNO supreme council Datuk Lokman Noor Adam was arrested last night, 13 June – two days after he lodged a police report over viral gay sex videos allegedly involving Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali

Malay Mail reported that Lokman was arrested at his home in Kajang Hillpark 2 around 6.45pm yesterday. 

Lokman was detained along with Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) member Datuk Gobalakrishnan Nagapan, who was in the house at the time.

According to The Straits Times, Lokman refused to hand over his phone to police officers for inspection during the raid.

"During the search, police officers instructed Datuk Lokman to surrender his mobile phone to be inspected but he refused to cooperate and hurled profanities against the officers who were on duty," Selangor Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat said, according to Malay Mail. 

Moreover, Gobalakrishnan also joined in and attempted to provoke the police officers. The MIC member is the former vice president of PKR and ex-Member of Parliament for Padang Serai. 

Lokman is being investigated under Section 504 of the Penal Code for intentional insult with intent to provoke a breach of the peace

According to New Straits Times, the probe against Lokman followed his police report over the viral gay sex videos allegedly involving Azmin.

However, both men were arrested for obstructing a public servant from discharging his duty, as well as the use of abusive language. 

Lokman and Gobalakrishnan were released on police bail earlier today, 14 June.
