Ismail Sabri: Total Lockdown Extended To 28 June

Standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the FMCO will stay the same as the ones currently in force.

The total lockdown, also dubbed the Full Movement Control Order (FMCO), has been extended to 28 June

Senior Minister (Security) Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced the extension of two weeks in the in the daily National Security Council (NSC) press conference today, 11 June.

He said the decision was made taking into account that new COVID-19 cases were still higher than 5,000 daily.

Ismail Sabri also said the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the FMCO will stay the same as the ones currently in force

The total lockdown was initially planned to be from 1 June to 14 June.

Meanwhile, Malaysia saw 6,849 new COVID-19 cases and 84 new deaths today.
