[VIDEO] KTM Train Derails Near Rawang Station. What Happened?
A KTM Komuter train derailed near the Rawang KTM station on Friday morning, but fortunately no one was injured in the incident.
The 3-car train, which was carrying 120 passengers, derailed at KM354.88 at about 10am on 1 November
Following the derailment, several Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) Komuter and ETS train services were disrupted.

thestar.com.myKTMB, in a statement issued here today, said that the train services that were affected were for the Central Sector, involving the Rawang-Tanjung Malim route and the 11am ETS Silver train from KL Sentral to Ipoh.

He said the train was at the time coming from Tanjung Malim and was on its way to the Rawang station.
"The first coach was following the outer track, but the other two coaches were on the inner track," he said.

When asked where the passengers were, he said they had been transferred to another train to continue their journey.

At around 1.35pm KTMB workers separated the two rear coaches from the EMU and attached it to a locomotive.
The locomotive than successfully pulled the two coaches away from the first derailed coach.
