While economists are praising billionaire Robert Kuok's return to Malaysia to advise the newly formed Pakatan Harapan Government through the Council of Elders, Robert Kuok was seen giving an actual salute to Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir on Wednesday
On 23 May, a fan page of Tun Dr Mahathir called 'Kelab Che Det' uploaded a short video, showing the 94-year-old billionaire greeting Tun Dr Mahathir by saluting him when they met in Perdana Putra
In the video, which is just 11 seconds-long, Rober Kuok is heard saying, "I salute you. You saved the country. Of course with Daim's help."
Tun Daim Zainuddin heads the Council of Eminent Persons, which has been set up by Tun Dr Mahathir with a goal to advise the PH Government during its first 100 days.
In response, the Prime Minister smiles and says, "But I need your help now".
