1 Million 2014 World Cup In Brazil tickets applied for in just 7 hours
It was a frenzied start to FIFA's attempt to fill the stands for next year's World Cup in Brazil as fans applied Tuesday, 20 Aug, for more than 1 million tickets in just seven hours.

During 20 Aug - 10 Oct, people will be able to register online and request the tickets they want in several price categories according to the desired stadium or the team they would like to follow.
Allocations won't be made on a first come first basis: People who apply in Oct will have as much chance of a successful application as those who submit in Aug. You'll need to enter payment details at this stage.
