Invictus Gaming, Na'Vi And 6 DOTA 2 Teams That Will Be Battling It Out For RM350,000

These are the teams that will be flying down to Malaysia to be South East Asia's DOTA 2 Champions. Will you be there?

1. Invictus Gaming. This Chinese team was formed in 2011 and is one of the biggest teams right now, winning The International 2 last year. Fun fact: Did you know that one of them is Malaysian?

2. Natus Vincere. Also known as Na'Vi, which translates as "born to win" in Latin, the Ukrainian-based eSports team will be looking to prove doubters wrong after getting so-so results in recent tournaments.

3. Team Empire. Based in Russia, this team swept the competition in the Major All Stars European qualifiers and will be looking to add another trophy to their shelf.

4. Invasion eSports. This Malaysian team was personally invited to join the competition and will be hoping to make Malaysians proud on home soil.

5. Team Redemption. Formerly known as Team Arrow, this Malaysian team qualified and will be hoping for a fresh start after being embroiled in a match fixing scandal last year.

6. Can't Say Wips. What do you get when you cross a Malaysian, two Indonesians and two Australians? You get Can't Say Wips, the only team from Oceania that qualified for this tournament.

7. Team Rave. This Filipino team has been making waves in the South East Asian scene. Managed by Koreans, the team became champions of the Korean Dota 2 League Season 4 last year.

8. Team eHug. Unlike other teams which are established and funded by companies, American-based eHug was founded by a group of anonymous Dota 2 fans passionate about the game.

Rules

1. Head down to this exact Facebook post.

2. In that post, tell us which DOTA 2 hero will best adapt to the Malaysian lifestyle and culture and why. The more creative the better.

For example: "Anti-Mage confirm can adapt into Malaysia for sure! Because he can use blink and teleport in and out of the Malaysian traffic jam easily mah"

3. The SAYS DOTA 2 Giveaway contest closes on 15 March 2015 at 11:59PM. Any comments after that will not be taken into consideration.

4. The grand prize is a pair of VIP passes, second and third-runner up will win a pair of Gold passes each, while the remaining 7 winners will receive a pair of regular passes.

5. Winning entries will be judged on creative merit and will be based on originality, humour and wit. All decisions are final and no other.

6. Winners will be contacted directly on 16 March 2015 via Facebook and will be given 48 hours to respond. Should the winners fail to respond within the given time, the prize will be forfeited and the next best entry will take the place.
