redONE Is Offering RM1 Million To Athlete Who Brings Home Gold At 2024 Paris Olympics

redONE Mobile is offering a special payout of RM1 million to the Malaysian athlete who achieves the remarkable feat of bringing home the country's first gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics

In a statement on Tuesday, 16 July, the company said the esteemed gold medal winner will also have the honour of becoming its brand ambassador for four years until the next Olympics.

"The payout amount stands at an impressive RM1 million, which will be disbursed in monthly instalments over a period of 10 years, ensuring long-term support for the athlete," it said.

redONE Mobile added that, in the event of multiple gold medal winners, the prize will be shared among them.

"As a company deeply rooted in championing sports development in Malaysia, we see this contribution of RM1 million as a way to not only honour our exceptional athletes but to also showcase our unwavering support for the spirit of sportsmanship and national pride.

"We believe in the power of sports to inspire unity and we are committed to propelling our athletes to greater heights," he said.

Ameen hopes that the incentive will also encourage future athletes to reach their full potential.

"I urge other corporate establishments to come together to support and uplift our athletes to collectively inspire a new generation of champions and bring glory to Malaysia on the global stage," he said.

The company also actively supports Malaysian sports through various initiatives via previous partnerships with football clubs, namely the Selangor FC, Terengganu FC, and Sabah FC

The company also supports the PDRM FC and Imigresen FC, as well as sponsors multiple sports tournaments organised by KL Fencing, Selangor Squash, and the Purple League.
