mirror.co.ukHow will the draw work?
The 32 teams have been separated into four pots and they'll be further divided into eight groups of four.
mirror.co.ukThe seven highest-ranked teams from October's Fifa World Ranking (Spain, Germany, Argentina, Colombia, Belgium, Uruguay and Switzerland) plus hosts Brazil will all be seeded for the draw and will, therefore, be placed in Pot 1.
Pot 2 will will be made up of five African teams (Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Algeria, Nigeria and Cameroon) and two from South America (Chile and Ecuador)
Pot 3 consist of four teams from North America (USA, Mexico, Costa Rica and Honduras) plus the four qualifiers from the Asia section (Japan, Iran, South Korea and Australia).
The remaining nine European nations (Netherlands, Italy, England, France, Portugal, Greece, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Russia) go into in Pot 4.
Because there are more than eight European teams, there will be one European team that can be drawn from Pot 2, making it essentially a wildcard team.
Pot 1 - Brazil and the seven highest ranking teams as of October 2013
Pot 2 - African and South American Teams
Pot 3 - Asian and North American Teams
Pot 4 - European Teams
England, Italy, France, Netherlands, Bosnia and Herzogovina, Greece, Portugal, Russia, Croatia
