As an official app developed by OpenAI, the ChatGPT app will be able to do everything its web browser counterpart can do, only through your mobile device.

The official app also syncs your account history across devices. What's neat is the app also supports voice recognition output thanks to OpenAI's open-source speech recognition model, Whisper

Additionally, if you subscribe to the paid version of ChatGPT, you'll get early access to new features, as well as quicker response times on the mobile app.

The app is only available in the United States as of now, but will be rolling out globally in the coming weeks
