The much-coveted LG G2 is the first smartphone to have no buttons on the side, and was named 'smartphone of the year' by Stuff magazine.

Despite missing out in the gadget of the year smartphone categories, Apple were nominated in six categories and won tablet of the year for the new iPad Air and laptop of the year for the MacBook Air 13-inch.
