Many Malaysians grew up having a Nokia at some point in their lives. So here at SAYS, we take a look at the most memorable Nokia phones we all had once upon a time...
1. The Nokia Mobira Senator, 1982. This is the world's first car phone. The whole thing weighed 10 kilograms. No wonder our dads were so strong.

2. The Nokia Mobira Cityman, 1987. The Cityman has gone on a diet! Shedding lots of weight from the old Senator, it allowed many Malaysians to bring this 700 gram device around.

3. The Nokia 2110, 1994. This pocket sized phone at that time was revolutionary. It had an address book, different ringtones, and Snake was born!

4. The Nokia 9000 Communicator, 1996. Forget the iPhone, this was one of the first phones that had email, web browsing and even fax capabilities. Yes, fax.

5. The Nokia 8210, 1999. The phone was a hit with many females due to the size of it. It fits handbags and was the keypad was just the right size for them.

6. The Nokia 3210, 1999. Meet the father of the legendary 3310. This was the phone Malaysians began sending picture messages to one another. It even came in six different colours!

7. The Nokia 3310, 2000. The phone that changed everything. We brought it one step further by customising the backlight (remember those?), the cases and even bought books on how to compose songs using the built-in ringtone maker!

8. The Nokia 6600, 2003. This phone became a trendsetter back in the day thanks to the camera, bluetooth function and a music player. So advanced.

9. The Nokia N-Gage, 2003. Remember how ridiculous this thing looked when it came out? It was Nokia's attempt to break into the gaming market and failed miserably.

10. The Nokia 7600, 2003. This odd-shaped phone was one of many weird Nokia phones to hit the Malaysian market in the early 2000s.

11. The Nokia 3200, 2003. With its weird layout and transparent cover, it was funky among the youth because of the many cases you can choose. It even had a flashlight built in!

12. The Nokia 6610, 2004. Colour screens and polyphonic ringtones! This was one of the most popular phones in Malaysia! Remember the game Bounce?

13. The Nokia 7280, 2004. Affectionately known as the "lipstick phone", there are no keypads on the phone. Instead, you use a scroll wheel. It even won the best design award in 2005.

14. The Nokia N95, 2007. Dubbed the iPhone killer, this iconic phone was once labelled as the "best smartphone ever". With a host of features, this phone was a hit amongst Malaysians.

15. The Nokia E71, 2008. A phone made to compete against the Blackberry, it features a fully working QWERTY keyboard and a standard (at that time) 3.2 megapixel camera

16. The Nokia XPressMusic 5610, 2008. This was one of Nokia's efforts to be the phone for the music enthusiasts. Playing music was easy with one of these devices.

17. The Nokia Pureview 808, 2012. Released in 2012, this phone was epic in terms of it's camera capabilities. It shot at a massive 41 megapixels and still holds the record for the largest sensor in a phone.

18. The Nokia Lumia 920, 2012. One of the last phones made by Nokia, it ran on the Windows platform. It earned rave reviews due to the smoothness of the software and the hardware.
