Samsung Gets Local Uni Students To Pitch Their UX Ideas For Foldable Galaxy Smartphones

They're using their foldable smartphones as a conduit to this process.

Through a collaboration with top local universities, Samsung Malaysia Electronics is engaging with Gen Zs in reimagining foldable app experiences for all Malaysians

They will be organising a Developer Day hackathon where students are given a chance to pitch their ideas to refine the UI and UX ecosystem of the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip smartphones.

The Developer Day hackathon will run from 14 to 15 June at REXKL in Kuala Lumpur

Students will need to leverage on Samsung and Android platforms' capabilites to flex their tech and design creativity, as well as pitch how their ideas will benefit in real world applications.

During the hackathon, three winning teams will be selected each day, bringing it to a total of six winning teams.

The winners will get to bring home Samsung products worth up to RM39,188 each day.
