China smart phone maker Goophone has listed a new Goophone S5 smart phone which looks rather identical with the latest flagship device from Samsung.
soyacincau.comIt comes with a 5″ Full HD display and runs on MediaTek’s MTK6592 processor with True Octa-Core processor clocked at 2GHz.
goophone.ccTo match the real thing, it also comes with 2GB of RAM, and a 2,800mAh capacity battery. It comes with a 13MP camera at the back and a 5MP camera t the front.
soyacincau.comThe software version is listed to be running with Android 4.2 and is likely to come with a TouchWiz lookalike UI. We doubt that it will come with a heart rate sensor but who knows what else they are capable of making.
goophone.ccThis isn’t the first time Goophone has been ripping off smart phones from popular brands
Its product portfolio includes the Galaxy Note 3 and even Apple’s iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
soyacincau.comOn Goophone’s official website, they proudly mention that “Goophone is a global smartphone brand, manufacture the most stylish phones and provide cheaper option for world’s users”.
goophone.ccLast month too, one particular manufacturer from China called No. 1 was in news for their claim that they will be creating a Samsung Galaxy S5 clone
No.1, who started to make a name for themselves last year with numerous Samsung and Apple clones, have named their S5 clone the No.1 S7 and say they have based the design of the flagship phone on concept images of the Samsung S5, which they believe to be accurate.
gizchina.comAlong with images they have used to design the No.1 S7, No.1 also said that the phone with pack an octacore Mediatk MT6592 chipset and boast a 16 mega-pixel rear camera which may have OIS (image stabilisation).
ubergizmo.comNow if you were wondering if the handset will make its way outside of China, you’d probably be out of luck as these handsets are typically limited to the Chinese market, so if you really wanted one you’d probably have to find a way to get it imported.
