1. Seventeen (9 September)

They might've missed out on Malaysia in their tour of Asia Pacific last year, but it looks like Seventeen will be making it up to Malaysian fans this time around! The 13-member K-pop group is embarking on their first world tour this year, which will see them visit 17 cities across North America and Asia.

2. Yiruma (10 September)

You've probably heard of Yiruma's 'River Flows In You', which was heavily linked to 'Twilight' and subsequently covered by countless other musicians. Now you can witness the composer-pianist play it (and his many other hits) live as he returns to Kuala Lumpur in September.

3. G-Dragon (17 September)

Big Bang's G-Dragon is set to make history with 'Act III: M.O.T.T.E', said to be the largest concert tour conducted by a Korean solo artist. Kicking off in Seoul on 10 June, the world tour will bring the singer/rapper to over 30 cities in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and of course, Asia.

4. Dream Theater (2 October)

This one's for all you metalheads out there. In celebration of their 25th anniversary, prog-metal titans Dream Theater have embarked on the 'Images, Words & Beyond Tour' and is set to make their first visit to Malaysia this October!

5. Mr. Big (14 October)

Be prepared for a nostalgic trip down memory lane with classic hits like 'To Be With You' and 'Just Take My Heart' as hard rock supergroup Mr. Big makes a stop in Malaysia next month.

6. Taeyang (15 October)

Fans of Big Bang are in for more good news, as Taeyang will also be performing in Malaysia less than a month after G-Dragon's KL show. Having kicked off his 'White Night' tour in Japan on 29 July, Taeyang is set to visit 19 cities around the world, including stops in Canada, US, and Asia.

7. Mayday (28 October)

Dubbed the "Asian Beatles" by CNN, Taiwanese rock band Mayday's new tour will commemorate their 20 years in showbiz with over 100 shows in major cities in Asia and North America.

8. Ed Sheeran (14 November)

With his trusty guitar in hand, the 'Shape of You' singer is set to take the stage for the second time in Malaysia this November, having made his first visit two years ago. While tickets to the concert are already sold out (no thanks to scalpers), you can still stand a chance to get your hands on tickets via this contest.

9. Angela Zhang (18 November)

Fresh off her 2016 world tour, Taiwanese pop powerhouse Angela Zhang is hitting the road again for the Remix 100% World Tour. Malaysia is the only Southeast Asian stop of the tour, which is set to kick off on 23 September in Beijing. This will also mark the singer's first solo concert in Malaysia.

10. Kitaro (24 December)

You might not have heard of Kitaro, but you've probably heard his iconic track 'Matsuri', which is a regular feature in formal functions and such. More than six years since his last appearance in Malaysia, the Japanese instrumentalist is returning to the stage here for his upcoming tour KOJIKI & the Universe'.

11. KPOP Sensation 2017, featuring Jessica Jung (formerly of Girls' Generation) and Kang Gary (formerly of 'Running Man') (16 September)

Though both Korean stars have appeared on the hit reality TV show 'Running Man' together before, their upcoming appearance in Penang's KPOP Sensation 2017 will mark their first time performing together.

12. KPOP Music Wave 2017, featuring Rain, T-ara, B.A.P, and 'Running Man' stars Haha and Kim Jong-kook (24 November)

This could be the biggest K-pop festival to ever happen in Penang, with big names such as Rain and T-ara set to descend on the northern state this November!

The man behind one of the '00s' biggest hits i.e. 'You're Beautiful' is back with a new album 'Afterlove', and with it, a brand new tour! This time around, the singer-songwriter is making several stops in Southeast Asia including Singapore, Bangkok, and Malaysia.
