The clip's first 48 seconds are silent, but no less amazing.
huffingtonpost.comWhich galaxy far, far away has this secret blooper been hiding?
What happened to outtakes from the original Star Wars movie, since renamed Episode IV: A New Hope? For years, Lucasfilm was unable to answer that question, or even confirm whether such a reel existed.
mashable.comThen its editor and author, J.W. Rinzler, uncovered the reel while trawling the archives for his "Making of" series. Rinzler screened the result for a small audience at Comic-Con — the first time it had been seen in 36 years.

The clip offers an unprecedented look at the making of "Star Wars" and the occasional flubbed line.
mtv.comIn the bloopers, you'll see Harrison Ford unable to deliver the line "Great shot, kid. That was one in a million" and Alec Guinness, who was not very happy to be working with a wookie. But perhaps the most rewarding blooper is an extended take of stormtroopers clumsily trying to walk through a hole that's been blasted through a wall. It's a perfect visual demonstration of how hard it must have been to walk around in one of those costumes.
mtv.comThe blooper reel for the original "Star Wars" is especially fun to watch thinking that soon (hopefully) filming for a new entry will begin, one that will (hopefully) carry on the traditions from this film, especially when it comes to the more practical sets.
