13,000 people under the rain and wading through sloshy mud for good vibes and great music? Can meh? Caaan.
People came from near and far, stayed the night at hotels around the area, and paired their concert OOTD with something waterproof, just in case.
The days were packed with punctual, back-to-back performances across four stages at The Ranch in Gohtong Jaya, Genting Highlands.
Local acts like alextbh, Jaggfuzzbeats, NYK, Talitha Tan, Orang, Airliftz, Najwa and more paved the way on both days, before headlining acts like Dua Lipa, G-Eazy, Zhu, The Kooks, Kodaline, LANY, and Phoenix took the stage by night.
Many would agree that with a solid lineup like that, dipping your feet in mud was seriously all worth it.
It was definitely a weekend to remember for many reasons.
Here are just some moments from the last night that we're still looping in our head:
1. Seeing the band's name on the backdrop and it finally dawns upon you that "OMG, this is actually happening"

2. Hearing the customary "Hello, Malaysia! It's our very first time!" intro again

It's still sweet no matter how many times we've heard it at the festival.
3. Regretting not buying a raincoat sooner because the drizzle is turning into the rain and you're getting wet
4. But that's okay because the music isn't stopping and there's so much to soak in from the stage

6. You're looking around and no one is complaining about sticky wet hair or getting their clothes drenched

Well, technically it didn't end there. We had to go spray our legs and wash the mud off our shoes! 😀
