Calm Your Tits, This Sexy Waitress ‘Kopitiam’ In KL Is Not Real

Some Malaysian folks got pretty excited recently when a collection of photos depicting a Hooters-like cafe - allegedly situated in Kuala Lumpur - were circulated on Facebook
A dream come true for some, the photos show scantily-clad waitresses serving food and drinks in a kopitiam called Cafe Lu. According to the post, they will also sit down for a game of cards or watch a sports game with patrons!
Well, we're about to burst your bubble.
If you're planning a visit to the 'kopitiam', you're gonna have to travel much further than Pandan Perdana... because Cafe Lu is actually located more than 14,000km away in Santa Ana, California.
In actual fact, Cafe Lu is one of many Vietnamese coffee houses in an area known as Little Saigon, which covers Santa Ana, Westminster, and Garden Grove in Southern California, USA. It is owned by by Natalie Nguyen, who worked as a waitress at the cafe before she bought it over in 2003.
Apparently, Cafe Lu is a packed day and night with locals and tourists although the coffee house only serves coffee, tea, smoothies, and finger food. That's right, the place doesn't even serve alcohol!
Anyway, this is not the first time the cafe is thought to be located in Malaysia. Back in 2009, the photos were widely circulated and its existence in KL already debunked by a Singaporean news outlet.
In fact, the shoutout in the aforementioned Facebook post is almost similar to that of this LowYat.net forum thread from October 2009.
But, if you're ever in Santa Ana one of these days, what's stopping you from paying the sexy coffee house a visit? ;)
