This 'Chicken Attack' Song Is The New 'PPAP'
"Go, chicken goooooo."
There's a new tune on the Internet and Malaysians are absolutely obsessed with it. Introducing: 'Chicken Attack'.
'Chicken Attack' is all about a mysterious caped benefactor who carries around a transforming ninja-chicken with him
The dramatic music makes the song and video even better.
It sure is a little peculiar, but we'll have to agree that it's entertaining and highly infectious
The 'Chicken Attack' video was first uploaded on 25 January by popular YouTubers The Gregory Brothers and has since gone viral on social media.
'Chicken Attack' is part of The Gregory Brothers' Song Voyage series, where they travel the world and produce weird but wonderful music.
Malaysians has since caught on the hype and took turns to share the song on their social media accounts, often tagging their friends.
Many said that this song is much better than the PPAP song but you don't have to take their word for it. We'll let you be the judge of that:
If you've noticed, the vocalist is not just some random Japanese man. He's actually Takeo Ischi, a popular Japanese yodeler.
Dubbed as 'The Greatest Chicken Yodeler', Takeo Ischi achieved popularity in Germany when he released the New Bibi Hendl (Chicken Yodeling) song a few years ago.
Some have opined that Takeo has officially made yodelling a "cool thing" again.
It looks like 'Chicken Attack' will be playing in our heads for some time
