It's an indisputable fact that Penang is the top food destination for foodies from all over the world. Now, it's also home to Malaysia's first ever food museum where - get this - you can actually play with the "food"!

Having recently opened its doors, Wonderfood Museum features a collection of larger-than-life and hyper-realistic food replicas of Malaysian delicacies, all created by graphic designer Sean Lau, who is also the owner of the museum

Try not to get hungry when you see these huge plates and bowls of asam laksa, nasi lemak, roti canai, and many more...

You'll be tempted to grab some local kuihs and desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth after looking at these photos!

Can you spot the tiny figurines hidden within the gigantic foods?

You totally know these large platters of food are fake... but it's not stopping you from wanting to pop some nyonya kuihs or nasi briyani into your mouth

The museum also throws back to the good ol' days with a tribute gallery to local street hawkers

Don't forget to make full use of these suspended set-ups to create your own souvenir photos!

Deliciously gorgeous food replicas aside, the museum also features some installations that serve to remind its visitors of the impact of our eating habits on the environment and wildlife
